Mobile Robots—AHP-Based Actuation Solution Selection and Comparison between Mecanum Wheel Drive and Differential Drive with Regard to Dynamic Loads

چکیده

Mobile robots are increasingly used in industrial applications. There many constructive solutions for mobile using various variants of actuation and control. The proposed work presents a low-cost variant robot equipped with Mecanum wheels, which uses brushed DC motors, controlled by the PWM method as solution. In first part, multicriteria analysis based on AHP was performed selection Then, software tools Simscape Multibody, Matlab, Simulink, models were developed that allowed simulation operation robot, both its kinematics dynamics. Using these models, wheel drive version differential studied means simulation. simulations mainly aimed at identifying way currents vary through order to find methods reduce them. values obtained later compared those experimentally, corresponding conclusions regard accuracy drawn.

a comparison of teachers and supervisors, with respect to teacher efficacy and reflection

supervisors play an undeniable role in training teachers, before starting their professional experience by preparing them, at the initial years of their teaching by checking their work within the proper framework, and later on during their teaching by assessing their progress. but surprisingly, exploring their attributes, professional demands, and qualifications has remained a neglected theme i...

OSEK/VDX Porting to the Two-Wheel Mobile Robot Based on the Differential Drive Method

In this paper, we propose an implementation of a real-time operating system for the two-wheel mobile robot. With this implementation, we have the ability to control the complex embedded systems of the two-wheel mobile robot. The advantage of the real-time operating system is increasing the reliability and stability of the two-wheel mobile robot when they work in critical environments such as mi...

A Castor Wheel Controller for Differential Drive Wheelchairs

This paper describes a motion controller for differential drive vehicles with a compensation for castor wheel turn forces. The controller has been developed for electric wheelchairs with two front castor wheels, which require large steering forces to move into the direction given by the joystick in situations where a sharp turn of the castor wheels is needed. It computes the required forces to ...

Integrated control of active rear differential and front wheel steering in rear wheel drive vehicles

Many vehicle control systems were designed and implemented in the last years to enhance performances and stability acting on front and/or rear steering actuators [1,2,3] and/or individual wheel braking [8]; the development of electroactuated differentials allows to transfer torque between wheels from the faster to the slower one in semiactive differentials [11,12,13,14] and in both directions i...

Vision-Based Path Control for Differential-Drive Mobile Robots

This paper proposes a vision-based line following controller for a differential-drive mobile robot. First, a kinematic model of the robot suitable for path following applications is derived. A feedback control, which achieves local asymptotic stability of the nonlinear closed-loop system is designed and analysed. A camera model and the perspective point transformations are given. A line detecti...
